The original charms of the region live on. The fishing fleet that sleeps in the marina at night is impressive and would rival even the most dedicated fishing ports in the U.S. The captains and crews take their trade very seriously and the experience for the visiting fishermen is unparalleled. The vaqueros (Mexican Cowboy) influence also lives on and can be seen in the regular rodeos and bull fighting shows.
All of this combined with the special friendliness of the Mexican people adds up to a spectacular place to visit or to even make home.
